Ready to Go to Greece?


Join us for an immersive culinary and cultural experience and we explore the delights of Greece. We will be embracing the Mediterranean lifestyle and the art of slow living.  Each day is a little different, mixed with time to explore the areas along with our planned events, and time to do nothing at all. We provide space for you to connect with yourself and your surroundings, and adopt a healthy lifestyle through seasonal, local and unprocessed food.  All while modeling the Mediterranean lifestyle, community and natural movement.

The Accommodation
  • We will spend the first 2 nights at the acclaimed Margi Boutique Hotel located on Vouliagmeni, the Athenian Riviera. 
  • From there we will journey to Loutraki, located about 1 ½ hours outside of Athens. Here we will stay at our own private villa, located on the Gulf of Corinth. This property boasts a private pool, sauna and professionally designed gardens. It is also within walking distance to thermal hot springs, waters famed for their healing properties. 
  • We will end the trip at The Ergon Hotel located in Plaka, the historical heart of Athens. It is fondly known as the “Neighborhood of the Gods”. 

The Cost
  • $3,150 USD
    • $1150 USD to be paid at the time of registration. 
    • The remaining balance of $2000 USD is to be paid no later than March 1st, 2021.

What to Bring?
  • Layers: the nights can be cool but the days should be pleasantly warm
  • Sturdy, comfortable shoes that are good for walking 
  • Bathing suit

Sample Daily Schedule
  • 7:30 Meditation, optional
  • 8:00- 9:00am Walk
  • 9:30-10:30am: Breakfast
  • 11:00 – 12:00pm: Class
  • 12:30 – 2:00pm: Lunch
  • 2:00 – 4:00pm: Free time
  • 6:00 – 7:30pm: Dinner

About the Hosts:
  • Caroline is certified as both a Natural Chef and Olive Oil Sommelier. She offers olive oil tasting classes, as well as pairing olive oil with the correct flavor profiles when cooking.  She has a deep knowledge of all things olive oil and with her close friendships with people such as olive oil producers, distributors, educators and lovers of olive oil in general she brings a wonderful perspective to those that want to expand their knowledge. Her love for the Greek culture and her most recent trip to Greece for the olive oil harvest season, sparked wanting to share it with the world by way of this retreat.  Throughout her career she has always found joy in teaching others with a focus on good health and connecting like minded people. Her love for travel started as a young girl, and has exposed her to many corners of the world, the Mediterranean being amongst her favorite. She has organized many health retreats, the last one being in Thailand.   
  • Marie graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Dietetics and has certificates in both Ayurvedic Pharmacy and Ayurvedic Beauty Therapy. She attended one of the world’s only holistic culinary art schools and graduated with honors as a certified Natural Chef. An avid traveler, she continues to explore her love of food while on the road. Marie's travels have taken her to study cheese-making in Tasmania, South Indian cuisine in Kerala, tea and fermented foods in the mountains of Korea, raw food in Western Australia and the kitchens of numerous meditation centers around the world.  She presently lives in the Bay Area and works as an educator, private chef, consultant and is a managing partner of 2 cafes.

Cancellation Policy
  • Due to the hefty upfront costs we have a strict cancellation policy
    • All deposits are non-refundable
    • The remaining balance is non-refundable once paid
  • In the event that a life circumstance doesn’t permit you to attend we will attempt to find a replacement for you. If successful, we will refund your deposit less a $250 admin charge.

Additional Details
  • The rooms in Villa Elena are all unique and have their own charm. That being said some are bigger than others. Room priority will be given to guests who book early.
  • The best airport to fly into is Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos
